If I could ensure one thing my child would experience that I have experienced in life is being heartbroken. I think being heartbroken is probably one of the worst things to go through as a life experience . Especially your first heartbreak. Well I have only had one so I don't really know which one is the worst. I'm sure they all suck. Feelings suck in general. Also being heartbroken is also one of the best things to go through in life. Everyone goes through it life. It just depends how you take it.
I was dating this guy for a year and I surrounded my whole life around him. I chose him over my family and friends. My happiness depended on him. My taught me to be independent but that faded away quickly. I think your first love is always the hardest just because you don't know what to except and you just have this one person who is always there for you. Anyways I lost myself loving him. I didn't know who I was or anything. Then we broke up and I was in pieces. It's been three months and I am still sad but I have also learned so much in the past three months that I am glad I experienced heart brake.
I learned many lessons from being heartbroken is being lonely is okay. Everyone goes through a lonely stage in life. Plus I know I'm a teenager and I have lots of emotions but why am I lonely when I have an amazing family and friends. I mean it isn't the same but you have to open your eyes and realize that they are going to be the ones their for you when you do go through hard times like this. Another thing I learned over this heartbreak is that I am a strong independent girl that I don't not need no guy to make me happy. I need to find happiness in myself not other people. When you make yourself happy plus someone else makes you happy , that's a bonus but making yourself happy by yourself is the key. I also learned that heartbreaks cost you a lot of money. I mean Eddys ice cream isn't cheap. I will provide my kids with all the ice cream they need. I've learned a lot of the past couple months and I am still learning. This is major maturing process and I want my kids to go through this so they can be strong independent kids. I want them to feel pain because pain demands to be felt. Pain is also a good thing because you appreciate the happiness .
