 A Long Way Gone


               
I learned a lot reading the book A Long Way Gone. Growing up in a small community , I did not know that all these awful events happen in the world .Especially to little kids. I learned that I need to appreciate what I have and grateful I am to live in the USA. We are blessed to have such an amazing country to live in. I learned that people are so cruel and it really is the little things that matter in life. It does make me mad that we do not learn about these type of things. So I am very grateful that Mrs.Burman gave us this opportunity to learn about this.
